New Car Extended Warranty (Before Vehicle Delivery)

  • As you know, your car comes with a 3 year/60,000 miles Ford Warranty so if you plan on keeping your vehicle for up to three years then you can be assured of peace of mind motoring knowing your car is protected against any defect relating to material, fitting or manufacturing fault. But if you plan on keeping your car for longer than 3 years, or you are a high mileage driver, then why not consider a Ford Protect Classic 4th and 5th year warranty extension?   • Catalytic converter

  • Braking system (excluding brake pads, brake discs, brake shoes and brake drums)

  • Ford audio systems (if factory-fitted)
  • Airbag
  • The entire electrical system including engine control, central locking, ABS, electrically adjusted seats and all other components making up the electronic safety and convenience system factory fitted to your car.

  • What’s Not?
  • All wear and tear parts and labour to replace these parts
  • Damage to vehicles that have been neglected, modified or used for racing or rallying
  • Bodywork and paint repairs, repairs to glass, upholstery and interior trim

Ford Protect Warranty Benefits
A Ford Protect warranty helps protect you from unexpected and expensive repair bills for mechanical breakdown and electrical failure.
It is designed to give you worry-free motoring for unlimited mileage for the period you anticipate owning your vehicle, with cover commencing from day one.

And with a claims limit equal to the purchase price of your vehicle, you can feel safe and secure that you won’t have to make up any difference in the repair cost for the items covered.

Additional benefits include:

  • Onward travel costs contribution & accommodation (up to £100) in the event of failure of a covered component
  • Car hire (£60 per day) subject to terms & conditions

Optional AA Roadside Assistance & Recovery
The AA will provide assistance at the roadside, or at home if your vehicle won’t start, to get you back on the road or to your nearest Ford Authorised Repairer.

Optional MOT Test Warranty
In case of MOT failure, your MOT Test warranty will cover you for the replacement parts and fitting of items required to pass your MOT.

You must pay the first £25.00 of your claim. Parts covered under the MOT Test warranty include:
  • Lighting
  • Steering
  • Suspension
  • Braking system  
  • ABS system
  • Seat belts
  • Horn
  • ECU Sensors – emission failure
  • £750 claim limit (£25.00 excess)

Repairs
Take your vehicle to your chosen Ford Authorised Repairer, safe in the knowledge that it will be repaired by Ford-trained technicians using Ford approved parts and that the repair bill will be settled by us directly with your repairer.

Transferable to the next owner
Planning to sell your vehicle? You can transfer the balance of any unexpired Ford Protect warranty to the new owner free of charge, which may enhance your vehicle’s resale value.
